Out & About
February 2012
On February 19 I was featured on the Business Uncoventional radio program airing on 710AM KNUS. During the program I discussed the American Psychological Association’s 2011 Stress in America survey. We also discussed creative (and effective!) ways to manage stress. In particular, how business owners can manage their own stress, while fostering healthy stress management habits in their employees. Check it out here.
My interview was also discussed during an April broadcast. Listen here (about 3 minutes in).
This just in! My February interview is one of Business Unconventional‘s 10 most downloaded programs from iTunes! More proof that many of us are stressed and looking for ways to cope with it in healthy ways!
Thanks Business Unconventional!

Denver Public Schools 8th Grade Career Fair
Dr. Smith along with several Colorado Psychological Association colleagues attends the career fair – manning the psychology booth. What a great event! The kids were so professional and well-prepared – they asked super questions about how to be a psychologist and some of the best (and worst) aspects of the field. Our booth was pretty popular, though we couldn’t compete with the veterinarians who brought real live puppies and kittens. A tough act to follow!
